Welcome to my website!
I am thrilled you are here, because here is where you will discover Brothers of the West and the world of Monument State. 
But first, here's a little bit about me. 
My name in Nathan Harrison, and I am an author originally from the North West of England, but currently living in Wales. So far in my career I have written a number of short stories and been highly commended as an author in publications such as Writers' Forum. I have also previously published stories via Vocal.
I have had a passion for writing ever since I was young. Creative Writing was always my favourite part of English classes at school, and I would get lost in the swarm of ideas swirling around my brain! I was always trying to come up with my own James Bond stories, Doctor Who episodes, and even comic book stories featuring Spider-Man and Batman. None of these projects ever got finished, but that didn't matter to me. I just loved the buzz I got from creating characters and scenes and stories.  
 

And then in 2014, an idea hit me as I was playing Red Dead Redemption on my Xbox 360. 
What if I wrote a Western, and what if I set that Western in a fictional world?
 

And that's how the idea for Brothers of the West was born. 
And now 12 years, countless drafts and re-writes and many many late nights and early mornings later, I'm ready to share the first chapter of this saga with the world. 
Brothers of the West: Dawn will be released on 26th October 2026, so save the date in your diary!
This will be the first novel I self-publish, which is both a terrifying and exciting prospect. 
But I believe in my story. I believe in Brothers of the West.
